Hey there [: The name is Stephanie. I go by Steph and Stephie as well, so call me whatever. I do random reblogs and rants. Monsters Inc. and elephant related posts are automatic reblogs. I love David Archuleta and also run the www.freakyeahdavidarchuleta.tumblr.com site. Every now and then I post a text blog about something that I feel is important to talk about. I want to become a best-selling author someday, but plan to study journalism and creative writing while in college to see what career choices I have open for me. I have been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Tough Times for Teens, which is my first official publication, and I hope to continue my publishing streak! I have my own blog on Google blogger where I actually do blog. So if you want to get into this little mind of mine, visit http://stephropabst.blogspot.com/ (: I'm a type 1 and type 2 diabetic and a pescatarian, meaning I eat fishies but not land animals. I'm one of those straight girls who supports gay rights. I tend to reblog Glee-related posts on Tuesdays (that's when all the gifs go up). I also post my own photos on my photography blog: www.thatphotographygirl.tumblr.com, so if you like photography, please check it out? [: I am in love, but with someone who does not feel the same. I'm also very open-minded and have a great ear, so if you ever want to talk to me, just go to the ask box. If you don't want it posted, let me know (whilst in the ask box). Otherwise, enjoy my randomness. P.S. You look quite dashing today. <3

I use Google Blogspot to blog text posts. I don’t consider Tumblr a legit blogging site because no one cares what you think or how you feel or what happens to you. I’ve come to realize that. So, if you wanna read any of my actual blogs,

Where I want to be: Somewhere gorgeous and historic, where old buildings sparkle with twinkling lights under a beautiful night sky while I enjoy a cold, fruity beverage. And I want to be sitting with a close friend discussing life and how wonderful it is while also knowing that no matter what, my dreams are all going to come true.
A story that makes me smile: Two, actually (: One day, my friend Beth and I wanted to take a walk. It was cloudy outside, so we were going to walk the short way around the neighborhood. We got 3/4 of the way around and all of a sudden, it started to pour. So we were running under peoples’ porches trying to stay dry. Then I could see my mom pulling out from the garage, and I told Beth that she must be coming to get us. We began waving our hands as she got closer, but she didn’t see us under the porch and drove right past us, completely oblivious. We laughed really hard about it, and by the time we got home, we were both soaked. Then, there was another day where we took a walk and saw this blow-up, rubber ball in a tree. We wanted to get it down, so I took my shoe off and threw it. It knocked the ball out of the tree, but my shoe got stuck. We laughed so hard, and then I realized it was time to take brownies out of the oven at my house. So I ran home with one shoe on, one foot bare, while Beth went to get a broom to knock my shoe out of the tree. I took the brownies out, ran back to Beth’s, and together, we were able to get my shoe down (:
My hobbies are drawing, painting, writing, reading, watching tv, social networking, taking walks, driving (I just got my license, yay!), cooking, and most importantly, spending time with my friends and family (:
My favorite teacher will always be Mrs. Elder at my high school. When I went into school, I knew I wanted to do something that had to do with writing for a future focus. But by the end of my sophomore year, I wasn’t so sure anymore. I wasn’t really writing anything, and I wasn’t that confident about the things that I had already written. Then, my junior year, I took Mrs. Elder’s creative writing class, and she completely changed my life. I was surrounded by seniors, and I thought that they would all be way better writers than me because they were older. However, because Elder required us to turn in one piece for the class to critique that semester, my faith in my writing was renewed. Not only did my class love my poem, but by the time I announced that I had written it, they all gave me a round of applause. I was shocked, and after that day, I began to share my work. Elder gave me prompts, tips, and she loved my work so much that she suggested I take creative writing again as an independent study. I became more talkative and animated both in the room and outside it. I made more friends than I could have ever asked for, and Elder and I still stay in touch today. In fact, she asked me to write her a letter of recommendation for state teacher of the year, and she told me the letter was more than she could have ever asked for. If it wasn’t for her, I may not be writing, I may not have ever gotten published, and I may not even be studying to major in creative writing. She will always be a very important figure in my life because she’s the one who prepared me for college and who changed me for the better.
